Relationships can be amazing but they can also be challenging if you aren’t seeing eye to eye…here are some tips to navigate the ups and downs.

  1. Listen – Normally there’s not a lot of listening going on when we hit tough times in a relationship…within ourselves or towards the other person. Have you acknowledged what is going on inside of you and have you taken the time listen to what your partner is really feeling? Drop the defenses and open up!

  1. Look inside – You can only meet someone as deep as you have met yourself…so do YOUR work first…what are you holding on to that is affecting you in your relationship?Be open to hearing things you may not want to hear and embrace it because only the truth will set you free. There are two sides to every situation and then there is the truth. Commit to learning more about each other and yourselves.

    Don’t get annoyed every time you argue – use it as a opportunity to understand each other better. The same problems you have with one person you will most likely have with another. We are here to learn our lessons and grow. The people we attract into our lives are our biggest teachers.

  1. Space – Don’t be afraid to have some space from each other – spend time with friends, go out..do something to take the pressure of your relationship and you can then come back with some fresh energy.

  1. Acceptance – Tough times will happen, life and love is an amazing rollercoaster of highs and lows and self discovery which you can forever explore…When you find someone you want to be with, accept each other for who you are…the good and the bad.
